[HELP] Noob looking to mess around with MSPS

Okay so i'm sure all of you could say 'go read other threads and you'll find the solution!'
the thing is, I've read all of the other threads.. (maybe not all of them)
I probably even found the solution to my problem. However, I can't seem to actually solve it. Some people said that the tutorial they were following actually worked for them and they were able to play on their server. So, I know it must work.

I am not an idiot, I can read and follow directions.
I went over http://forum.ragezone.com/f428/make-maplestory-private-server-v83-741739/ many times. I re-did every step and made sure I was downloading all of the correct things. I set it up exactly like the guy said, yet it still won't work for me.

It did kind of work for me once.
When I got to step 8, it loaded like it was supposed to and I was able to launch the game. I tried logging in using the Admin account and the game crashed. I then checked the OneW cmd prompt and it had a bunch of errors. Tried restarting it, but it continued to have errors after the 'world launched' and 'login launched'... and now I can't seem to fix those errors.
I've re-done step 4. I am using the JCE Unlimited Strength Files. I placed them in all 7 locations.

I am not an idiot, I can read and follow directions.
However, I am new to this. If anyone may know what my problem is, i'd appreciate some input.

[Help] Making a Localhost/Web Hosted Retro

Hey forum,

I'm looking to develop a theme for a CMS (most probably RevCMS) I may give it a little re-write and organisation too.

I've made a couple of retros, for development purposes only, on VPS's several times but now, I really can't be doing with breaking the bank every month and I'm out of work until August to develop for the community so I figured localhost or web hosted would be a good second idea.

I attempted to do it localhost but I keep getting the "#1045 Cannot log in to the MySQL server" error and I spent two hours trying to fix it and nothing worked so web host was an even better second best. I was just wondering if anyone knew any hosts that were cheap, hold what I need and if someone could give me a quick step-by-step guide. I know there's lots of tutorials but I'm looking for something a little more basic to go along side it e.g.
1) Go to C-panel, click x, do y.
2) Update a and b.
3) etc etc

As an addon, I could always do the good old windows VPS so if anyone's got any cheap suggestions, throw them at me!

[Help] Question about .elu and .ani

Hey Ragezoners!

I've got a little question about Blender.
I made a shotgun in Blender, and uv mapped it, and textured it.
I got a image file for the uv mapping.
From Blender I exported it to 3ds max 2010 (using .FBX exporter)
In 3ds max 2010 everything looks fine and the same (texture also in it)

Than I export to .elu .ani and I get 2 files.
Shottie.elu (size : around 300 kb I thougt)
Shottie.elu.ani (size : 1 kb)

I put this in the gunz server and client (that's all fine, someone who did this before did this)
And now the weapon is invisible. (It does shoot)

But where did I do something with the texture? I think I'm doing something wrong.
I tried to look on the forum, google, but couldn't find anything.

Can someone please help me?

And just to know,, what means .ani and what means .elu?

Meso Explosion doesnt kill+doesnt take mesos

hey, when im using meso explosion at monser, it show the dmg, but dont doing nothing. the meso isnt dissapear, and the monster doesnt get the dmg(only img of dmg).

im on 117

Doesn't meter why i need it, but i do, so ... any1 remember or knows how to make a mob drop somethin when killed via event script ? remember doing this one time on ep2 (not 100% sure) but can't remember the script and seems i don't have it saved either ...

i use no-ip so i dont have to use my ip 83.183.......
but when i enter my ip 83.183.... Or my no-ip adress
my cms page takes like 5 mins to load but when i use localhost it takes like 1 sec only anyone know whats wrong?
