I found it funny how they said they just had to make it a online game. Then, modders come along and figure out you only need to remove 2 lines of SimCity code to play offline.

Except you don't have access to the majority of the game that way. Seriously in the first few days when everyone was DCing a lot, I could tell when the server was messed up by the lack of tourists, commuting trade, etc etc etc. It's an online game that has some offline functionality for DCs (that as far as I'm aware lasts 20min before it kicks you off). Pretty much exactly the same as SC2, it works but it looses a lot of the functionality.

It's an online game, people need to get over it.
