Word of advice, don't both with the A+ exam until you are in your senior year of college. All the jobs out there that need the A+ cert also require you to have a bachelors and the A+ cert only lasts for a few years before you need to renew it. You'll basically be wasting your money and time. In addition take college level IT classes as they are waited just as much as the certificates so there are really no point in getting them unless you have your bachelors in something non computer related.
As for myself, I finished up the 3rd year of my bachelors degree a month ago and right now I'm taking classes over the summer. I really should be studying right now as I have a midterm in physics tomorrow morning. XD

Go serve your country for a few years and then you'll be able to get a job easier.

Managed to scoop myself an apprenticeship in website development. Pretty darn pleased with myself if you ask me.
