Well it's a popularity contest where at the same time you can murmur about everyone voting for their neighbors yet be disappointed if you don't get the love from yours. If it's a contest I really don't know what the votes are supposed to represent as surely it's not about the best song. On top of that like half the countries get a free pass straight to the finals emphasizing how none of it makes any sense. Now it's a nice phenomenon, much love and all, but to be frank the music sucks for the most part and I could respect the show better if the whole competition part were dropped.
