hooking up a guitar to a pc

Oh wow... I'd like to hear that! ^_^

My guess would be that you either need a special type of guitar that has a connector on it and a plug. (Then hook that up.) I'm not possitive if they have anything like that, though.

My other guess would be... scan threw this as it might help.

u can c on the pci of ut mobo on the back of pc, there is usualy an "incoming" audio port next to the outgoing (for speakers). All u need is a special cable or converter :D

Once u do that all u need to do is change the volume controls (iin the recording options) fo be checked on the incoming audio data, then u can even record with the regular windows recorder :D

you need a 3.5mm connecter on the pc end of the wire, and a converter to a 5mm jack (i think) on the other end for your guitar/effects pedal. then its just a case of putting the pc end into your mic port and the other end in ur guitar/effects
