Your predictions for the next 20 years

Let's discuss about your predictions of how this world will be in 20 years time, judging by how fast information is passed on today using the internet I think you would agree that learning has become at least three times as fast than say 40 years ago!(?)

Learning is key to our development and if learning is three times as fast then our development must be as fast. This factor could make most of us change our outlook of the future.

The major news outlet predicted that the future would be grim, but could it be so?

20 year is far, but...

Within the next 5 years I'm going to experience a lot of rough times, so I hope that wont bring me down on my education.

A nice war with Iran, hopefully not nuclear.

Oil shortage, huge price increase on everything resulting from that.

Collapse of the Eurozone.

Severe drought in Africa.

What would be the use of flying cars? The skies would be congested and another 50 years later people want traveling on land again :P

I don't think there will be any "major" breakthroughs, but we will become allot more technology oriented. Reasonably things like everyone driving electric cars, cure for aids, and (hopefully) robots for homes to do chores for you

One thing for sure though, the earth is going to be over populated (that is, if you don't already thing the world is over populated) and resources will be in a higher demand (food,oil,money,etc)

As a huge fan of Aviation, I'd like to see what's next in the aviation industry. I just hope that with the way aviation is headed, that pilots are still required!
