The RaGEZONE Comic

Well I originally was going to hand draw everything but realized:

a) I have little time between work/school/wow/some sort of life
b) I'm not as good (at drawing) as I want the comic to be
c) I'm lazy! Too true..

Then I was going to collages.. But then I realized that could be too much work as well, and might look odd. So I was about to just say "damns" and give up...

Yesterday I was thinking: Why are you even trying? What makes you want to do it? Then I remembered why I came here, and why I originally loved RaGEZONE: Mir2! So I was like... hmm, maybe I can use mir2 for my comic... how?

Well, I just decided to plop in my old server cd and start it up again, this time using the world of mir to do my story! Some of you may not like this, but tbh, I do, not only because it is what I love (mir2), but also because it's much easier to do and I can make a lot of cool (and semi-attractive) looking comics!

So pretty much the comics will be two types:

Main story/stories
Funny comic, more "Real" RaGEZONE-like

Genre: Action/Adventure/Drama/Comedy
Cast: RaGEZONE Mods/Members/New characters
Setting: Mir2 World
Story: Ever changing
Design: Simple, but always changing in some way to make it more appealing to the eyes. Every new one I get better at it so bear with me!

Fair enough. Even if someone who could draw wanted to do a comic I can't imagine them actually spending time doing it for the sake of a forum and ppl s/he don't know irl.

Didn't like it 1st tbh. Couldn't figure out who was who. Also I wasn't aquainted with Mir2 and such so my 1st impression was more of, "Wha? Eh? Wth is this?".

I'd give you some constructive critizism... but I can't really find anything wrong. I like it! I can't wait for the next episodes. =D

The short was very funny, imo. ^_^ And the main story looks like it's going to be very good. Congratulations on your great work!

It is a good idea. Who cares if people dislike it, i am sure by saying me and every other RZ member supports you with anything you do :D

Very nice some suggestions:

-when i saw it i looked and saw the comic was all messed up and not together ( meaning like gaps and stuff)

-maybe u dont have to jus to a setting with mir like different seires meaning like Legend of Mir series / Mu online series / ect..

I wanted to draw it but tbh I'm too busy and at the same time too lazy. No real excuses but that lol

First one was a test one tbh, hence the "Pilot" thing.. Those two characters are important to start the story off pretty much.. And yeah mir2 is an aquired taste so I'm sure many will not like it because of it.

And yeah, there is defo something in my mind going on about the two unknown characters. I masked their names for a reason..

Anyway, thanks Mr. Ionic for the good feedback, as always :)

Not sure about the gaps.. I know it's not straight at all (intentionally done for the pics)

Well I used Mir because it's what RaGEZONE used to be, and what I loved about it. And mu.. er.. no lol :P

Thanks! I can't wait till this week is over (2 exams, 1 today, 1 thursday) so I can relax (read: breathe) a bit. I really shouldn't be doing them right now as it is lol...

The story is slow but I can't help it tbh.. Just how it is. I'm doing this for 2 reasons:

1) Someone that's bored can occupy a few minutes of their boredom with something
2) A good release (for me) from reading textbooks all night

The story aint slow. It is just right. It just perfect if you plan to make it a long one. If it was to fast it would be over too soon. Thus not as much fun. :D

Should be soon, after I get my exams done (tomorrow) I will have more free time aka time to sit down and do it w/o thinking about other things ;)
