[Update]NEW Guide to setup server

Sorry for my very bad english, a hope you can understand.

*1. Setup MS SQL Server 2000.
WinXP -> MS SQL Server 2000 personal edition.
- Run file setup.exe in CD MS SQL Server 2000 personal edition.
- Select "SQL Server 2000 Component" then "Next".
- Select "Install Database Server" then "Next".
- Select "Local Computer" then "Next".
- Select "Create a new instance of SQL Server,or install Client" then "Next".
- Write your name and your conpany to field "Name" and "Company".
- Select "Yes" in tab "Agreement".
- Select "Server and Client Tools" then "Next".
- Select "Default" then "Next".
- Select "Typical" then "Next".
- Select "Use the same account for each service.Auto start SQL Server Service" then "Next".
- Select "Use the Local System account" then "Next".
- Select "Windows Authenticatication Mode" then "Next".
- Select "Next" and wait to finish.
- When finish, restart your PC.
*2. Up MS SQL Server 2000 to SP4.
- Download file SQL2000-KB884525-SP4-x86-ENU.EXE in Microsoft.com
- Run it.
- To folder c:\SQL2KSP4 and run setup.bat

*3: Creat Database:
- Start --> Program --> Microsoft SQL Server 2000 --> Enterprise Manager
- Creat 1 database name NavyField.

- Start --> Program --> Microsoft SQL Server 2000 --> Query Analyzer
[Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
- Then
[Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
- Then
[Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
- And then
[Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
- Finish.
*4: Creat 2 ODBC with names:
1- NavyFIELDBeta
2- NF2Billing
- Start --> Program --> Administrator Tool --> Data Sources (ODBC)
- Select Tab System DSN and click Add.. chose SQL Server --> Finish

- Then.

- And then

- Finish.
*5: Config SQL server
- Start --> Program --> Microsoft SQL Server 2000 --> Enterprise Manager

*6: Change file Host
- Go to c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\
- Edit file host :

*7: Run server.
Extract file NavyfieldServer.rar to F:\

- Go to folder NavyfieldServer
- 1. Run file Saveserver\NavyFIELDFileAccess_Debug.exe Or link 2.exe in folder “start”.
- 2. Run file Loginserver\NavyFIELDLoginServer.exe Or link 3.exe in folder “start”.
- 3. Run file NavyFieldserver\NFUServer.exe Or link 4.exe in folder “start” in this file you need config like this :

- 4. Run file Gameserver\NavyFIELDServer_Debug.exe Or link 5.exe in folder “start” and config like this :
[Only Registered and Activated Users Can See Links. Click Here To Register...]
- And then you return to check file 1 & 2, if it like this then it run normal

You done Config & Run server. If it don’t have error then server run precise!

this is english or china, anh u has private server, in my line adsl but it very lag, so i waant another server or set ip lan to shooot. what is client anh run ok?

lol, who needs a BO on official English I kepted the 01 DD until level 15. You continue to get upgrades for those earily model ships even after you get to high enough levels to advance to a new nation. :smilie3:

Um.. i think the server works
i think... :/

Well i cant test cuz i dunno how to cennect with the client.

But the LoginServer and the SaveServer it gives me the lines that u have in your images..
so it must work.

anyways i have some more questions.
1) Where do i set the XP, or i can't set it?
2) how u make an account xept witht the weby and how u make some1 admin
3) as i sayd above, how do you connect to the srv?

Any ideas? thanks for ur guide btw :>

Tsompanis, Thank you for your questions.
1. Your will change %EXP in 1 Area and I known only that.
2. Make Admin in 1 table of the Database, eh i forgot it.... I will check late.
3. You only need download my client and then ---> go
OK
To other, in Version OFFLINE, You will have any ship of any class you want! Money is Unlimit!! And Ship limit is 13!

i cant conect to saveser if i conect i see many erors and aplication crash :(
