Promo-Code SYstem

Hi all,i want make something like promo code system for WoW server...for example: we have one special NPC. Go to him...and choose "I want use Promo Code". He give us small window there we enter some code and press "Send". After it in Chat window system write message: Soon you will give gift on your mail.

may be anyone have some ideas how it can be implemented?

Basically you want the promo-code NPC from the game. As far as I know, Trinity never actually did that NPC but really the only way I can think to do it is figure out how that NPC works, write it into the core, make a new table which contains the promo codes and item GUIDs and have the entered codes checked against that table.
