Can log in and play, no problem.

The game is maybe 10% translated to English and is filled with bugs.
Can not even get past the first training stages.

PS : Why not release the server files, so that you can get some help and support from the community?

thats not true, you can pass the training stages. if you lose the guy youre supposed to follow, go back and try to stay as close to him as possible.

Got in and played for a few hours, although its mostly in Korean when you talk to NPC, the quests are do-able with the amount of English provided. Other than the bugs and lags I really am enjoying this Been waiting for years to just get into the world and do Qin Gong all day~~~~ :O

After following him, we get to a cave. The cave is empty. The NPC has by then already returned to his original position, and I don't have the option to talk to him again. In other words, my original statement is still true.

Don't tell me what is, and what is not true on my own system. I am not saying it's the server, I am saying that this particular problem is one that I am experiencing.

Destroyer quest is bugged too, tho weird since for everyone the starting quests are the same but for some classes they just don't seem to work. Anyway it also looks like development is going really slow ? I can't check cause for whatever reason my IP is banned on the forum >.>

Ok here's what I did at the beginning quest, (Assassin) You follow the elder brother or something to the cave, when you get to the stairs to the cave the brother dissappears for some reason, then you go back to search him, I think he was on the plateau thing where you had to use your skills on the dummy's, then talk to him and he should dissappear or something or he starts running to the cave, then just go to the cave, talk to him infront of the cave and then just walk in. This worked for me, I'm not promising that this will work for you but you could give it a try if you cannot get past the first mission because this game is great and you just have to try it out.

Aaah like things couldn't get better, my char fell of the island so my char is stuck now, and I have to create a new char. ;(

Well, I fell of the island because I used a skill that was jumping on a downed target in a cave, idk if that's the problem but the reason you need to create a new char afterwards is because they did not apply the fall damage yet, so your in a endless fall xD. But yes, you should try the game, you don't have to read the dialogues and the most important stuff as in the quest such as Kill and Capture and that kind of stuff are translated to English. Besides the endless fall and the Korean language, there are like none bugs and I have no lag at all (Europe). Oh yeah, and the first mission was bugged but you can complete it though, you just gotta search guy you were following and talk to him and you can complete it.

Can somebody tell me why when I play the destroyer class (only available to gon race) the 5th subquest of the first part doesn't start? I grabbed the book, read it, talked to the master but the quest doesn't start. I don't know why this happens, but I know that it's probably class-bound, because it does pop up when playing a gon kung-fu master... it's really strange. Can somebody PLEASE tell me how to fix this? I really want to play the destroyer class

What class are you playing? Because if your using the destroyer class, that's the reason... Know it sucks, hope someone finds out how to fix this

So wanted to try this out but downloading it has been a real pain. Of course I get the proxy error so I can't download from their forums, but all the alternate links are broken 'cept for wupload which sucks. I mean after 3 hours I have one part downloaded because if it gets messed up even a little bit I have to wait 44 minutes to redownload. So are there any other alternatives?

Server/Game is great. A tip, if you can't register on the forums because of the socalled proxy problem, try to register on your smartphone (without wi-fi), I couldn't register on my pc so I tried on my iPhone and it worked out great. Also, there's like no lag at all, it's a great server and alot of people. I do not like the xp system though, since it's to low, atleast for me, so if you wan't to level fast, I suggest doing all the quests there are.

Loaded up the forums on my smartphone, and it popped up with the proxy server message. I'm using an IPHONE 4s. Any solutions?

I'm currently DL'ing the files from my premium MU account. Still up to 2 hours total though 0.0 I'm crossing my fingers it will all work out. I'll keep all the ones who needed help DL'ing informed!

- Unrar 'Atomix_Blade_and_Soul_Launcher.rar' to your desired path and then open NCLauncher.exe
- In the top left under 'NOT INSTALLED' right click 'BLADE AND SOUL' and select Properties.
Click the Browse button and navigate into the folder where you installed the game and then go into the bin folder and select Client.exe
- Click Open, then OK for the next two windows and proceed to update the client.
- Play!

Atomix Blade & Soul is the first and only private server for the MMORPG Blade & Soul.

Blade & Soul is in development by Korean game developer NCsoft and its Team Bloodlust division. Holding the slogan, "The Signature Eastern Fantasy," Blade & Soul is a fantasy martial-arts game featuring stunning graphics by artist Hyung-Tae Kim. The game is in closed beta testing in Korea, with reports of an open beta sometime in late 2011 or early 2012. English localization and release is currently unknown.

Blade & Soul consists of four playable races and 8 classes. Currently, only 6 classes have been revealed: Blade Master, Kung-Fu Master, Force Master, Destroyer, Assassin, and Summoner. Available classes are determined by race.

-UPDATE-
downloaded a torrent installing program (Vuze) and noticed that the file has 0 seeds hosting it. it can't download without seeds.

-UPDATE 2-
Finally found 1 peer (don't really know how or why, because only Vuze recognizes the peer. Mnova still says 0/1 0/1.) and it's down to 4 hours download. Really, it could take a week to download, as long as it just gets the job done.

Stoped the download at 53.4 percent, because the 1 peer I had, vaished (he must have seen the download before me, and started it earlier. When his finished, he closed the download, thereby cutting my connection to his information. Only answer I have). Unfortunately, it is yet again stuck at an infinite download time.

Another stroke of luck, found a peer, and it FINISHED downloading (praises the game gods). I'll leave it to seed for a while, and if you want me to reseed, just tell me.
