What is Roleplay?​

Roleplay - It is when you act as another person. In this case, your character is your representation of a different person. You have the freedom to control what actions your character does as long as it is believable and logically possible. You must stay In Character (IC) at all times. This means that whatever you type is what your character says. Whatever you do is what your character does. Going Out Of Character (OOC) is allowed, but is encouraged to be done at a minimum.

The features and commands of roleplay servers are mostly similar, so instead of listing all of the stuff you'd already expect on a roleplay server, I'll tell you about the things you can expect only on LV:RP.

Unique Features in LV:RP

Realistic Time and Weather​

The server's time and weather updates every second, not every hour. You can experience the gradual change in global lighting. You will be able to witness the sunrise and sunset. Heatwaves are noticeable and desert storms don't suddenly pop up just because the clock says 12:00.

Realistic Jobs and Dynamic Economy​

The jobs aren't just a bunch of commands you have to type every 10 seconds or going from a preset point A to point B. There are different variations of paths and random events that will occur whenever you're on duty. You will also have to wait at least 4 hours before redeeming your paycheck.


What jobs are there?

• Mechanic
• Lawyer
• Trucker
• Courier
• Bodyguard
• Taxi Driver
• Weapon Dealer (restricted to family members)
• Drug Dealer (restricted to family members)

Job skill levels
The more that you do your job duties, that higher job EXP you will get. The higher your job skill level is, the more money you will make with job commands and the more money you will get on your hourly paycheck.


Vehicles
You can own up to two vehicles both of which can be spawned at the same time. Whenever you disconnect, they will be despawned as well. You can also store your valuables in your vehicles. Unlike other servers, you can buy vehicles that have been abandoned by other players for a cheaper price. Beware of buying second-hand vehicles though, they might be faulty.


Houses and Garages
You can buy a house as soon as you reach level 2. If your house's exterior has a garage, you can request for a garage to be installed where you can park a vehicle inside. Houses have a safe where you can store your weapons, materials, drugs and cash. You can also use your house's closet to change your skin to anything that you want for free. Saves you time and cash compared to going to a clothing store everytime.

There are several types of businesses that you can purchase on the server:

You can buy a business as soon as you reach level 4.


Duties of a Businessman
You will have full control over your business, this includes setting the prices, managing your product stocks and assigning which family protects your business. Families that protect your business will get bonus cash in their paycheck with no cost from you and your business. They will also be able to lock and unlock your business at anytime they please.

International Family Ties​

Family ties are offshore connections that a family has. Here's the list of possible ties and what they provide:

1. Germany, China and Russia - Provides 500 grams of materials per member every hour.
2. South Africa, Afghanistan and Mexico - Provides 20 grams of marijuana per member every hour.
3. Colombia, Bolivia and Peru - Provides 10 grams of cocaine per member every hour.

Setting a family tie for the first time is free, but changing it costs $250,000 every single time.


Where do the items go?
The items provided by the ties go directly to the family's safe.


What's the limit on what we can receive per hour?
There is no limit. If you have ties with Russia and there are 25 family members online, then you will receive 12,500 grams of materials per hour. The more members your family has, the more your family benefits.


What's the difference between the countries that provide the same items?
There is a chance that a country that you have ties with will begin scamming you and providing less than what you're entitled to. An example scenario would be having ties with Colombia, but instead of receiving 100 grams of cocaine for having 10 members online, you'll receive 63. It is important to keep track of how much you have in your safe, specially if you're the family leader. Once your connection starts to scam you, it is in your best interest to pick another country.


What if the next country I pick begins scamming me too?
You can go back to the country you had ties before or pick a different line of business. Getting scammed by your connection is a very rare occurrence, but once they know you're not paying attention, that's when they'll strike. The best way to avoid getting scammed by your ties is by withdrawing the items they provide every once and awhile. Keeping your family safe empty for a few hours will reset the "temptation timer," but doing it too much might cause your connection to think that you don't trust them and they'll disconnect themselves from you. Even if your connection is the one that disconnected from you, you will still have to pay $250,000 to pick a new connection.
