The point behind this project is to continue the development of BrowserQuest whilst also working to improve my programming skills. The goal of the project, is to offer an MMORPG that is playable from almost any device. Taking away the BrowserQuest local storage and implementing a database, I seek to allow a player to continue progress from one device to another.

July 23, 2015:
- Server enhancements (can now process 12x the data)
- Guilds are now in development
- Admins now show up as red in local chat
- Camera & Rendering Improvements




July 22, 2015:
- Tutorial now has music
- Some areas have music added
- Client enhancements allow for faster loading
- NPC Respawn rates now back to their initial rate (too many complaints)
- Marketplace System nearly done
- Fixed a blocked ladder in the mice cave
- Under the sea ship wreckage now displays properly upon entering
- Ship Wreckage has fixed doors now




July 21, 2015:
- Decreased NPC re-spawn rates from 60 seconds to 25 seconds.




July 20, 2015:
- Began work on Player Market
- Added player wanted levels (They can be attacked anywhere, by anyone)




July 19, 2015:
- Fixed dungeon door getting a player stuck
- Higher level monsters give off more EXP
- EXP System has been changed
- Maximum Level is now 165
- The ship under the sea now leads to a new area (new boss)
- An empty area now has a boss (Under the Sea)
- Map Fixes around Under the Sea
- Fixed Abilities (Passive & Active). Drag from Character Screen into the Quick Bar
- Added a Store System
- QWERTY buttons in the quick bar changed to QERTY




July 18, 2015:
- The FPS now changes accordingly
- Archer armours and weapons now have stats
- Started working on a fullscreen mode




July 17, 2015:
- EXP Bar Freezing fixed (Due to an error)
- Fixed Firefox Crashing & Improved its stability
- Items now display in the target HUD as you hover over them
- Players now have 10 Inventory Spaces
- Kill 25, 100, 200, 500 Quest has been changed to 25, 50, 100 & 200 for rewards




July 16, 2015:
- Drop Rates of Pendants, Armours, Weapons and Rings has been increased
- Pendants now give an extra XP on each kill
- Player now stops walking when attacks
- Item Info screen now shows Melee Weapons & Armours
- Burgers have been added to a few areas




July 15, 2015:
- Released 8 new Map Areas, and Improved door systems
- Fixed NPC Disappearance Bug




July 14, 2015:
- More work on the map
- Double EXP Enabled (Allows players to find bugs quicker)
- Map Fixes (Inaccessible & Misleading Doors)

and the auto recognized better armour and weapon feature is cool.
and i cant stop tapping my mouse lol

Seems nice, but i got myself stuck in a house and cant exit. Cant wait for the android version of the game.

The game is nice, i only think need more feedback from items and quests.
Like: How much Attack / Defense the items add. Right now, you only really see it's appearance change (you know the attack get better, but don't know how much really).

Quests: A small tracker of a quest might be nice. Righ now the quests are about killing a low amount of mobs, so it is easy, but what about on the future, when you might need to kill like 50+ mobs (don't know if will have, but is a supposition)?

And need to fix some bugs, like you use/abuse the cave entrances to lure a mob and make it bug, so it wont attack you and you can kill higher level monsters even being a low level.

Good job so far! Next step should probably be adding a character panel, fixing the issue in some caves that you can't exit because there's a monster stuck on the exit and of course further improve the game by adding more quests, npcs, items etc.

I really do enjoy it and I am waiting to play it on mobile too!

What's the use of this game after you have killed the skeleton boss?

Love the whole concept. Graphics are good, the game definitely looks attractive.

Would recommend adding an alert system when the user has received or completed a quest. Hard to go and look.
Users would also probably enjoy customizing their character more, so an inventory maybe?
Also, some user level stats would be great as well.

At the start, the skeleton quest dude says something like "There are some skeletons, go fight them."
I would request you change that to something like "There are some skeletons in a house up north, go fight them."
idk where the skeletons are.

Plenty of little bugs to squash, however, a great concept, and with a little work, a great game.
Doing a bit of BETA might also help. Maybe include a little suggestion box so that users can inform you about bugs in the system that you might not have noticed.

Thank you for the suggestions sir, they will definitely be taken in consideration on future updates, we have a suggestion section on the forum hence why I didn't bother to add another one below as well as a bug reporting section. As for character customization, I am already working on adding a basic inventory which will later be improved upon.

The Cake Quest is bugged

This has been fixed.


Update - I am currently working on updating the game and adding many new things, shops, inventory, player equipment menu, spells, range and much more. So far I have a picture and a video of the new map, weapons and mobs.
