Yeah I know it's flammable. Well I hope so. I learned that in my chemistry class when we made some explode.

Either the "explosion" was a pressure-volume one (heating up a sample of liquid nitrogen to room temperature in a closed container is going to make it explode from pressure) or it was a nitrogen-containing compound (e.g. nitroglycerin).

Products of combustion should be H2O and CO2. Now explain how N2 could turn into H2O and CO2 with the addition of O2?
