Logitech Z-5500

Just bought a used set, good condition for $250. Was pretty happy, and now I'm even more so happy they sound AMAZING. The digital processing the pod does is great, I don't even have a good sound card and the quality is amazing. I'm going to have to invest in a good card now, that's for sure.

Anyone else own a set of these amazing Logitech speakers?

Ive had a set for 5+ years now, has been running as well as the day I bought it. Best set of speakers around for a computer system!

Yea my best friend in high school had a set of these, they did sound great. He also had a 30" PC monitor and would download and watch everything in 720p, which in 2003 was a pretty big deal lol.

I've got the Z906 which is basicly the successor of the z5500. The set sounds really amazing indeed. I've hooked it up to my PS3 via optical toslink, on a 50" lcd tv. I stream 720/1080p movies (with 5.1 audio source) from my pc to my ps3 via ps3mediaserver (which support dolby digital encoding) and I'm pretty Ducking happy with it.
