Hi, i'm running 8 VMs on my desktop computer (16GB RAM, RAID0 SSD, 3770K at 4.5GHz) and it's really slowing down my games.
So i though of building a server computer to suit my needs. And i'm requesting your help.
-What CPU should i get? i thought of a socket G34 Opteron CPU.
-Is ECC Registered memory required for better performances (file server, debug server, and 5 game servers)
-RAID0, RAID1, or RAID10? (no SSD please)
-Redundant PSU?
