What's with all the IDE HDDs, wouldn't SATA2 drives be better suited for what you're doing [I'm guessing] you move a lot of 1GB+ files around?
What PSU you got?
I will eventually update this list, filling in the missing info.Code:CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 @ 3.00GHz (Stock) GPU #1: NVIDIA GeForce 8400 GS @ Stock Motherboard: Intel DP35DP (J1PR) Memory: 6.0GB Dual-Channel DDR2 @ 399MHz Hard Drive #1: Western Digital 80GB WDC WD800BB-75CAA0 ATA Device (IDE) Hard Drive #2: Western Digital 1TB WDC WD10EADS-00M2B0 ATA Device (IDE) Hard Drive #3: Unknown 500GB (IDE) Optical #1: ATAPI iHOS104 (DVD-ROM BD-R) Black (Blu-Ray Reader) Optical #2: Unknown DVD-RW (LiteScribe Enabled) Black (Unplugged due to insufficient power cables) Optical #3: Unknown DVD-RW Black (Unplugged due to same reason as above) Floppy: (removed, waste of space and power) Case: Unknown (Black) Monitor #1: Dell LCD Monitor (Unknown Size) Monitor #2: Westinghouse 42.6" 1080p 60Hz LCD HDTV Accessories: Desktop Microphone, Fan Controller, Neon Lights, etc.
Strictly built for programming and high definition media (I don't even play games anymore). I have an unlimited rental membership at Blockbuster and regularly get 2-4 Blu-ray movies a week and rip them to my PC.
My speakers are just normal Dell speakers. Soon, I'll get a home theater sound system set up to complement the 42.6" HDTV.
The video card is crappy because I took it from my old Dell PC in order to save money. I plan to buy a decent video card for decent 1080p playback soon.
Also, gotta buy another fan to cool down the hard drive bay. The massive storage is necessary because I download and rip a lot of Blu-Ray movies and HD shows. I also burn DVD's and sell them to my friends and people. =P (Hence the multiple DVD drives)
Any feedback and suggestions?

Actually, that's kinda weird because I used a SATA cable to hook up the 1TB drive (and the BD-ROM drive) to the motherboard. My computer said it was using IDE. o_O Only one of them (the 80GB) are using the IDE cable because it was taken from a 10 year old computer.
What the hell is wrong with it? Is it because the 1TB drive is a dynamic drive?
I'm not an avid PC tech so correct me if I'm wrong but IDE (PATA or w/e) runs at 133MB/second, SATA1 which runs at 1.5gb/second and SATA2 is 3gb/second.
But if it's just Windows reporting incorrectly then I guess don't worry about it [if it's running at the right speeds) I think it really only matters with bigger files hence using SATA drives for storage of the medis with - I'd assume it would be faster to burn a movie that's stored on the SATA HDD because of the read speed, and the write speed would rely on the ODD I would assume (probably Rish could offer better advice lol).
Actually, it takes about 5 minutes to transfer a 4GB movie file from a partition to another partition on the same drive going at around 100 MB/s. I think there's something wrong.
