Rules:

Forum Rules stated by NeoSparky http://forum.ragezone.com/showthread.php?t=101410 apply for this section along with the other sections

However, we have specific rules for this section, please read the rules below, as each of these will result in an instant infraction:

  1. All forms are warez are not allowed! This includes but is not limited too:
    * Illegal distribution of commercial applications
    * Requesting of commercial applications
    * Requesting of CD-Keys/Cracks for commercial applications
  2. Bumping of old & dead threads is not allowed. If you need help with something then open a new topic. Each topic is centered around a certain situation that is tailored to each person's case.
  3. Make sure you read before you post! Many times people only read the first post and reply with a solution for something when someone else has said it and the topic starter has tried it.
  4. The posting of useless answers will not be tolerated. If you do not know how to solve a question someone has asked, then do not post. Posting the wrong information may cause them a loss in equipment and/or money. With the same token, posting for no reason at all will be considered spam because it is not adding any content to the thread.
  5. As with above, it is essential that you first know the current status of any problems, as well as things which have already been tried/suggested and failed. This means that each thread must first be fully read before submitting any sort of reply. Failure to do so will result in your post being counted as spam.
  6. If you want to thank someone then 'like' their post. Simply posting "thank you" is relatively useless and only serves as a way to boost post count so if you want to thank someone then just 'like' their post. Posting "thank you" will be deemed as spam.
  7. Develop your points. People constantly post in threads short, simple answers, for example, "that's not a good rig, you can do better". That's all very well that you're making a statement but every good statement requires evidence. Elaborate on any points you make and help to stimulate a good discussion about technology.

General Info:

This section is for general talk on technology. Here you can hold discussions about up and coming technology or current stuff.

If you need help or advice, there is a section for that.

Just a quick notice...

I've been seeing a fair bit of help threads being created in the root section (http://forum.ragezone.com/f116/). This is the wrong place for those types of threads. Please use the correct section accordingly. If the same person creates a help thread in the root section more than once I will start issuing warnings rather than just moving them to Repair Bay.
