Hi all,
I have a problem login to my server. This is 1-th server i make so don`t know what i did wrong :?: i will give u full info what i did pls tell me what i miss or did wrong .
1. Download : CT2 Gracia Epilogue Download from : http://forum.ragezone.com/f344/share-files-5gb-l2off-server-765220/
2. Download the game form the net.
3. Use 2 PC in home network
3.1 PC1 game PC : IP: 192.168.56.101 , Firewall :OFF , OS: Win XP
3.2 PC2 Server PC : IP: 192.168.56.102 , Firewall :OFF , OS: Win 2003 server
3.2.1 unrar the fails in C:\L2\
4. Read all doc`s in :
C:\L2\0_Documentation2009
and the
C:\L2\0_Documentation2009\setup_guide_html
5. Install MS Sql Server 2005
5.1. Make DB`s from the .rar i get from (1.) : lin2db ,lin2world,lin2log,lin2user ,lin2comm,lin2report,petition
5.2. User "sa" have all privileges on all DB`s
5.3. Go to Server Properties -> Security -> Server authentication and chose : SQL Server and Windows Authentication mode
6. Make DNS files for all DB`s in : ODBC Data Source Administrator -> File DNS
all look like this only "DATABASE=" is diff. :

DATABASE=l2db
WSID=BGSENTINEL
APP=Microsoft Data Access Components
SERVER=BGSENTINEL
7. Make few account from : Create GM - L2AC.exe
8. Make a few selects on the server :
9. Edit boot.ini and make it / 3GB
10. config all files for : L2LogD, CacheD , AuthServer ,L2Server and L2NPC
First CacheD.exe and AuthD.exe are missing and i try with the files in this folders.(no log errors but still nothin happen)
i run hAutdD fix all err.
Find from other .rar files this 2 exe files .
Fix all errors form CacheD .
11. Run all L2 files :
NCP proc run and close after few min.
12. try to run from PC1 the game nothing so get back to the server and get the files from :
C:\L2\1_ClientPatch_CT2F\system
and put them in the game ..\..\system and run the L2.exe file
13. try to log in and tell me WAIT you are log in and stay like this forever
15. go to server and see l2server.exe is gone ? hAutdD get a red mess : "Timeout expired" don`t know what is this for ?
I thing i must change a system files but I do not know how:
