Initial crappy logo designs before we had a theme:
Decided on a futuristic theme, as well as change "FGunZ 8" to "GunZ Infinity".
This is the first logo and it's variants.
Decided to keep the color scheme but change everything else.
(It is supposed to be an "i" in combination with and "8" and an infinity sign,
but in the end, it really just turned out to be a cyclops with a mustache.)
People didn't like the emblem, so I changed that, making the finished product.

I personally like the last one due to its usage of figure and ground, and it is very simplistic. It will also be very nice for animation purposes, seeing that all the parts can moves freely from the others. Overall I liked this initial project in the branding of the game, and look forward to the other projects I will do for them.
I know I could have just posted a logo, but I wanted to show the mindset I worked through to get here. The main portion of this logo did most of its transformations over a few days, all of which I had to argue the pros and cons of each style to the other members working on this project. Most of the project wasn't actually spent in illustrator at all, but yet deciding what described the game best.
