Gray or Purple Backgrounds

Which one should I use? Gray background or the purple image background?

Purple Moon-bg looks hideous. But yes, you do need a background, rather than just a plain gray.

Well, I must say that the grey background looks a lot better! But, instead of just having a plain grey background why not add a little noise to it?

It makes the background look textured, and a little more inviting and less bland.

The purple background really doesn't suit the professional feel of the template.
