This was a project for my Photography course in level 1. The brief was text and the photographic image. I chose to do depression as my boyfriend was going through really bad depression, and I felt helpless to do anything about it.
I photographed words about the signs of depression with a macro lens adapter. I used an adapter as it dostorts the edges of the frame, making the viewer feel uneasy, and at the stage of our relationship, that was how we felt.
Luckily he has gotten out of that and we are not very happy :)
Feel free to look around the page.
Awesome!

If I like your post, it doesn't mean I like you - it means I agree with you (for once).
These arnt photoshopped at all, they are the raw photo.
So you take pictures of papers, blur them a bit and call it "Art"? Oh, you're very talented my dear. <3
After looking at the work that you have done with '7 years experience with photoshop' I really don't think you have the right to comment on someone else's work.
Anyway, back to the topic at hand!
These images are beautiful! I'm not sure why, but photographs like this are always very interesting to look at, and always send out a lot of emotion to the viewer.
I hope your boyfriend stays happy, I know how hard depression can be on people!
I love these. Tumblr-worthy and all. Nice job :)
Hey, don't get hurt. I said it was nice a work of "Art".
Thanks mister, I appreciate you being honest about it. I'll do my best to improve. However, I still have the right to comment on other people's work, don't I? Considering they post it on these forums for feedback. Freedom of speech you know.
Have a nice day.
I would be all cool about it if you had actually read the discription rather than assuming I had added a blurred effect to it in photoshop. Otherwise I would be like kay and take on board what you were saying.
Thanks guys. I may start tumblr. Although, I don't really get it :p
