Dear ragezone-people,
i'm not sure if i'm here in the right corner of the forum. Well if not, move this.
I wanted to ask something about the GPL-license.
If a company doesn't exist anymore or doesn't offer another possibility of using a software instead of a GPL-license, is this kind of license still active for the software?
Forexample Lithtech-Jupiter:
Lithtech Jupiter game engine, made by lithtech split up and changed their name, now they are called touchdown entertainment.
BUT even this doesn#t exist anymore or?
So i can#t buy a license. I can only use the GPL source.
BUT when i publish my game made with this source ( modified ) i have to share the modified source code of my project - i want to avoid that.
Any ideas or something?
