So , I have here this siggy :

100% genuine bloom.

If you don't know what bloom is , it's the nice light in almost any anime cartoon , and lately in many games too including World of Warcraft.

So first I flatten my image (make sure you save a PSD first ) :

I duplicate the result :

Brighten the image and remove contrast :

i use Levels because it has more control over the image , but you can use Brighten in the menu and adjust contrast.

After that's done , I apply Gaussian Blur

something high , like 7.5

however if your image is big , you might need more

you should have something like this by now

Now you can change the blend mode , either to Hard Light , Vivid Light or Overlay

depending on how much you brightened your image , you will have to adjust the opacity too. Play around with controls , and have fun. Questions? Ask bellow.
