blur sharpen doesnt create depth... /face.
it lows the quality and gets a bit blurry.
its nice what you did with the stock, i like the flow, colors, lighting, even text, and the outcome but the background is lq. 7/10 there.
This is a discussion on [Sig] The Master Swordsman within the Signatures forums, part of the The Portfolio category; Found a good stock with this character I couldn't render... So decided to make the sig with the complete stock, ...
Sharpen and blur does create depth, it doesn't just lower the quality.
I focused on the flow on this sig, I really did my best there and you can kind of check the result
There's too much going on.. its too messy :S :/
I don't really like it sorry...
Art is like masturbation. It is selfish and introverted and done for you and you alone. Design is like sex.
There is someone else involved, their needs are just as important as your own, and if everything goes right, both parties are happy in the end.
You do your best work if you do a job that makes you happy.
You don't become great by trying to be great. You become great by wanting to do something, and then doing it so hard that you become great in the process.
I used all HQ resources, next time I won't blur it, that might be the problem :/
Anyways thanks for your comments ^^
Can you tell me what parts you see low quality so that I will try not make something like that again?
