Lately we ve had many PVP based server events. To counter that - we ve come up with something a little bit different behind the scenes.

Event it self is fully held in Azeroth to test your knowledge of unusual locations - where a random raider, leveler or PvPer wouldn't even think of getting to. The fun part is that ANYone can take part of it. Although level 50+ character is suggested.

I ll be adding the start date and exact hour of the event a bit later - all you need to know is that the event lasts for 8 days. Each day on certain time, Loxx or me, will post a picture of a location you need to find. To succeed in that, you need to take a Screenshot (read below how to make a screenshot and upload it ) of yourself standing on exact same location and post it in the forum in the correct topic.

Now you ll be asking - event lasts 8 days - can i win several times? Yes you can. Each time you win the picture hunt day - you ll get 2 Picture Hunt points and 2 Battleground Marks on your own choice (either AB, AV,WSG or EOTS). And that s not all - the player who has collected the most point after picture hunt week gets a mount reward.

** To make a screenshot, use Print Screen button on your keyboard. Now you have the screen picture in your World of warcraft/Screenshots folder. Upload it to (for example) imageshack.us and post the link in the forum :)

UPDATE: FIRST PICTURE GOES UP 0:00 SERVERTIME (26th june). I LL MAKE A NEW TOPIC FOR EACH PICTURE TO AVOID CONFUSION. ALL QUESTIONS AND GRATZ POST HERE PLEASE.

EACH PICTURE GOES UP 2 HOURS EARLIER THAN PREVIOUS. SO TOMORROWS PICTURE WILL BE UP 22:00 SERVERTIME. THIS WAY EVERYONE IN ANY TIME ZONE CAN TAKE PART OF THE EVENT.


UPDATE: Award has been changed to http://www.wowhead.com/?item=19902 . Due to the fact that it s epic level item and even harder to get then the picture hunt will last 1 day longer. There were some issues with adding the previous tiger mount to players since it needed Tiger Riding.

Hmm, FYI. Twitter is not used to replace to forum. It is used as a quick addendum often with backlinks to the source. Pretty handy to parse that on my phone without having to filter the posts from elv about gay wow songs.

Aaaaaaand its over. As mentioned in other thread in the forum there will be one bigger but alot shorter event. But i dont even bring that topic up yet before major bugs are fixed here and there :)


We could of had a nice fight if Nyst had a little bit more time on earlier picture hunts ;).
