I have a problem..i try to degrade my wow version but i get an error... "The amount of data required to repair WoW is too large. Please reinstall" ..this is happening at step 5/9

I want to know if i can repair this...because i cant install it again...i cant instal cd2 from BC..& now i download the game..but it takes time

The game is the TBC whit the last update from officeal servers

lets say i get the enGB version of WOW and then i download BC enUS and patch it with the enUS patches will it work?

Do what the instructions say, reinstall everything, other wise you'll keep getting the error.

It will not work. Use the same version of WoW.

Do not let it upgrade to version 2.1.0. Avoid using the launcher, use the WoW.exe application instead to open the game.

i installed TBC when i had 2.0.12 but somehow my version is 2.0.0 again

Nah I didn't, I normally use WoW.exe, it's just I normally launch from Xfire, and I just recently upgraded to 2.0.12 and it never gave me that auto update thingy, so I just wanted to clarify weather or not I should let it update or not, now that I know, I wont launch via Xfire anymore. Thanks.

You messed it up.

Install TBC on a version 2.0.0 or 2.0.1 normal WoW. Then from there, patch your way up to 2.0.12.

Don't use launcer.exe...Use wow.exe from you folder C:/World of Warcraft/wow.exe

If I remember correctly, if you connect to the official servers, the first patch it downloads is 1.X > 1.12.0, then goes to do 1.12 > 2.0.0 etc.. Make a back-up of your WoW client if you can then try downloading the first patch via Blizzard's Official downloader.

i cant create an account..why is that?after i agree about the terms i was link to this site RaGECRAFT (38 players online) and and why is it all black?..cant see a thing..only the boxes to put the account name, password and email add..can anybody pls tell me why......and i cant create an account..they say its not possible..what to do guys...

That was the account creation page.

Type your particulars ( desired account name, password, ad email address) in the box and click the button below it. Also, you should let the page be fully loaded to see the whole picture. :grin:

You can try deleting patch.mpq and WoW.exe then running repair.exe and patching back up to the correct version.

It would be better to make a complete back-up of WoW before trying it, incase it does go wrong.
