Also about the shield it's very similar to the changing a weapon from 1 hand to 2 hand.
i'm sorry but you really need to do trial and error. I will give you a hint on the server side change the value for bk or whatever class from 0 to 1 that will enable it. But for the client you need to do the same thing but the value won't be as easy to find. I wish you the best of luck just try until you figure it out.
