No-IP setup at MuOnline

this was also made for 97d, but u can use it at any other version too (i tested it on 1.02d, 1.02k, 1.04d, 1.04h it worked)

First of all, what does No-ip exactly do?

It helps Router users to get a stabile, global IP which can be used
in server files. so instead of the global IP in your CS, use your No-ip.
In this file you can find out how to setup No-IP correctly.

1. Go to

You must be registered to see links

and register an account.

2. Download the Dynamic Update Client (DUC) for your operating System (Windows or linux)

3. Login in your Account on the main website.
On the left side you will see a navbar.


4. Search for Hosts/Redirects

5. Click Add

6. Choose a Hostname and a no-ip.XXX ending. This will be your Address in websites as well.
So make sure u use a simple and not too long one.

7. Configure it as a DNS- Host (A)

8. Scroll down and click Create.

9. Install the downloaded DUC and login with your No-IP account.
You will be lead to a splash screen, mark the field and you are fine.

10. Its done, now place your No-IP in every File which used to contain your Global IP.

but I have a question..
I can view my MuWeb 0.8 page localy
but when I try from different IP address it will not alow me to view it
and my No-Ip works
at a local address so

and it comes up with the Muweb page.
but it isn't viewable from a distant IP address
please help add me on msn or yahoo

...Hi!..,this is not about the no ip mode. its about 3d camera viewing in mu online. i would like to ask your help where i could download that third party program to enable 3d viewing, some called it hack! some server had already 3d viewing but i wanna stick to my private mu server.

I made 9/10 point,and theres an error,that the page cant be displayed,or is missing,or something

the files u need to put this no ip in are mentioned in every guide, i personally made one for 97d, but u might wanna use another one for newer versions

So could any one say where to put no-ip. Because when I change my normal ip after choosing server i can't see Account and Password, it's gone. But when i put normal ip it's OK.

no-ip u must put on server files and main
server files at CS>serverlist.dat
and data>mapserverinfo

and main.exe with opening it with hexeditor or maincracker.

ports has to be allways opened number 80
and firewalls closed. try it.
