the client have a virus my anti virus dont let me donwload it... i choice the first option (clients donwloads)...

i did it step by step. seems backin up the db files dont have any problem. when i did luanch the MuServer Start Up. there is an erro show wz_character sored procedure problem and the only thing is running is the data1.. the reset is not running..and when i check the configuration it keeps changing its ip, thats not my ip

If your using norton,then your poop out of luck lol it thinks most MU files are vrisues,just disable it.

Don't use MU startup,causes alot of problems,recommend just doing it one by one.

You only need to change the ip in one link btw.

ok i made the server and it runs fine , now how do i make character and add stat and stuff remotely, i want to test it first, is there tools for that?:juggle:

can i used local ip 127.0.01? for test coz im not using routers, is this possible?

It isen't possible i guess using 127.0.0.1 for local.
Just use the simple Global ip instead of the 127.0.0.1 ,

Iv done all of the stuff on the list the MuServerStartup.exe works fine..My anti Virus (Avast) did pick up
mu.dll as a trojan/horse but told it to by pass the trojan so the file is still there and havn't deleted it using the anti virus . Now when I launch the Main.exe loads fine get's to the Main secreen I click the Server and then
server 1 and then I get Disconected .. ?
Iv installed Microsoft Loopback Adapter that fixed the problem where I was getting DCED as soon as I entered the main screen but I still get Disconected when I click the Server 1 ..?
I am conected with SQL at the time I have set the IP's correctly according to your guide ..
so I cannot understand why I cannot conect..?!
please help noobies or someone :]

why my joinserver crashed when i click MuServerStartUp.exe
everything went smoothly expect joinserver.exe

i have my avs disabled

Thanks for your guide ! But i cant connect to the server and also i couldnt change ports that you provided ^^. I tryed to put my getaway adress but nothing happens... also got error on database backup when i try to restore Ranking database.. Can u help me with that ? I am noob at all this - and if i will start up this server than it will be my first ever Please help me !
