now im having a very Weird Issue....

i manage to put srv 1 (main srv) online, played a few mins, and then turn it off to make some mods, so later same day, i start up serv., and when join, click on "valhalla"(server) and no "login box" appears, meaning empty screen, with background, but no server, and no login box, i tried many ways, even tryed deleting the whole muserver folder, and reinstalling everything (databases, odbc)....still, i could never log in...just 1st time...after that, no login box....


i spent like 1 day thinking and searching the error,with no progress...
the only thing i think may cause error is my NO-IP, i changed it...but the only difference is that new one is 2 characters longer than previous one....may this be bothering??

or is there any specific error that may cause this ?.

EDIT: i just realized that i also changed the "serialhere" for a 16 chbaracter long serial, may that cause this?.....all files use 16 character long serials, so i just assumed it would be the same...

The "Valhalla" buttom is the connect server, by this momment you will see the gameserver. So if you can't go on it may be wrong config on your GS, maybe port is blocked...
Too long adresses on NO-IP may cause problems too. The serial I recommend you to edit using the maincracker.

I am going to make a video-guide soon and also migrate to sql 2005. Just wait.

The problem is that my repack was configured with the directory C:/MuServer...
Just edit the bor_StartUp.xml as:

well, ill test using main-cracker to change serial now, and use a no-ip as the 1st i had (shorter), ill report if fixed the issue later.....

@huski69: databases i think exactly the same....that one i uploaded is from original release (also posted by ulfsark)
as for the startup.xml, i had same issue, and also catched the one from original files pack....
here i upload the xml im using (original + cashshopserver added to xml), just run startup and then GS & GS_CS.

EDIT: ok problem solved, just used shorter IP and changed serial with maincracker, also reinstalled all from the top....just in case :P.....having new issue now, and weird one :S.....

IF use "4.6 client update main": ALL OK, except for 3D cam, if i move my mouse wheel, mu closes instantly....kinda pain in the as$......if playing and by mistake u move ur wheel, get party again, maybe all AFK...its hardcore server....maybe cuz i changed serial on ur main?...

EDIT: 2 more questions:
1) how to change Manashield on this files? MG vs SM 32767 FO set both, hit all MISS to manashield :S...maybe u can tell me how to make it max 40% protect?

2) Socket system wrking? how to edit an item with sockets (empty slots)?? and what are NPC codes for seed master, and all seed-related npcs? not where they should be...

few days ago i started my own server with these files - have to say that was running pretty damn good without any problems till today. Im using win7 x64 and today i updated my grapich card drivers and after that i couldnt start the game and by that i mean that when i click on main.exe a black window pops up for a second and close. Unfortunatly MuError.txt is on chines cant traslate it. Anyone experienced this problem before ? .. i do know that i was able to play before i updated my graphic card drivers so im looking for way to play without reinstalling these drivers.

Are you sure you updated correctly your graphic drivers?
As you can see on the videos I have geforce 9500gt and I am using the latest drivers, those released for the battlefield 3, not a single problem running Mu.

Are you sure you updated correctly your graphic drivers?
As you can see on the videos I have geforce 9500gt and I am using the latest drivers, those released for the battlefield 3, not a single problem running Mu.

i run perfectly every game as about battlefied 3 ( running on high withou problems - ati radeon 4800 hd). Its only with 4.5/6 client i run every other version without problem not to mention other games. Just wanted to know how to start the game without reinstalling drivers. I just gave "Yes" to my oldest driver when it asked me. I had the same problem before but after a month or two somehow it was gone - i guess by installing other games like bf3 & call of duty moderwarfare 3 i made s4.5/6 working since these games have a directx install file when installing them.

i tried editing empty sockets with no luck....that's why i ask....all s4 sets anyways....like hades, valiant, etc....
im fking impressed....i swear to you, im not crazy, 2 days ago, before i needed to reinstall everything....got ur main working with no problem....but now i use it and cant see the "connect server" button....sux hard, if i move my mouse wheel = crash....press END key = crash....
(all crash is client sided.).....but still need some help on this...i have no clue what this may be :S....
i need to find out, is there an easy way to fix that?
or an easy way to "disable" the 3dcam ? so it wont crash when using it's keys...

I can't help because I don't know why you have crash. I don't use the rmst main, I don't like AddOn's. Watch the videos, maybe that will enlight you.
But why do you use NO-IP? If you're testing it in home only you can use Lan IP.
