Everything seems to work except that when I start Main, after the loading, the message "You have been disconnected from the server" poops up. I changed the ip from the main with my global IP, I also tried the Vikings client and is the same result.

44405, 55901 and 55919 has been forwarded correctly.

if says success then ip is not edited correctly in files or client
if says failed then means u didnt forward ports correctly.

There were actually 2 IP's in the main.exe

Gonna change the correct one now and see the results.

Also one more question, on the StartUp application, what IP should I leave there if I wanna make it public? 127.0.0.1 or my global IP?

you only need to edit your IP to
serverlist.dat in connectserver
and data\mapserverinfo.dat
everywhere else must be 127.0.0.1
and in main.exe add everywhere your IP and try again.

use this ip:

Its working! The problem was in the main, I changed the second ip only that's why I couldn't get it to work.

Now I need to figure out how to change the resolution to 1920x following what commandcom said and also get the shopserver to work.

These are kinda buggy files and pain in the butt to make it to work.
If you read whole thread then you maybe find where i wrote how did i get cash shop running.
You shall use MuEmu files instead.Took me like 1 hr to get server running at first time...

Hi Karli! I opened main with XVI32 and not found ip: 192.168.178.69 as your Tutorial ???

a. Open XVI32 From Client\Hex Editor\
b. Browse main.exe from client folder.
c. search for 192.168.178.69. and replace it with your IP by typing it.
d. Run main.exe and test your account .

Probably not, these files were released very freshly and are standard webzen's files with surely some bugs etc, its only for testing with friends etc.
use IGCN or MUEMU nowdays

Hi,

So first of all I would like to thanks to KarLi the tutorial maker!

I'm having few issues with making a mu server via this tutorial
could you help me with them please?
I'm using Windows 7, and SQL 2008 server r2.

So these are the issues occurred:
1. When trying to run GameServerGC this what happens

2. When I'm trying to open MuMaker to create new account this is what I get:

and I've tried few different users of the sql nothing helps

3. When trying to run GameServer this is what happens to CashShop and to DataServer:

4. When trying to get ShopServer running also having some .dll missing, which I can't find where to get such file

5. and another small issue, when editing main.exe with XVI32 hex editor some times this
massage appears, and some times it's not.

6. Last issue for now, when I'm closing GameServerGC an error pops up
of debugging issue bcoz of the Microsoft Visual C++ part
already installed Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 + 2010 Redistributed packs

many issues mate ^^ non worth it to fix better use IGCN Season 9 files, i mean if u still want to .. then 1st of all disable your antivirus/firewall or whatever u using and retry again and see what errors Persist..

ps: maybe v c++ 2005/2012 required too.
the main.exe issue is up to you, u edited it wrong, dont ever use the 'back' button or delete when editing ip, just replace it by typing over it.
the .dll error missing is cuz of virus.. but if u check previous posts about cashshop there are solutions.

check if you have all windows updates done... had same similar mambojambo ages ago and then installed win 10... problems solved

I'm using windows 7, and already updated everything
I've tried to start it up in windows 10, and it did not work at all lol
problems even with the sql server installation
