Installed it on Windows Server 2012R2, everything seems to run and start up. Even GameServer-Shortcut seems to run as it should if you igone the gameshop connection errors.

But when I start GameserverGC-Shortcut nothing happens, cursos changes state, but that is it, no windows open or anything else.

I try to start GameserverGC after GameServer is fully started. But even if GameServer is not started I cannot launch GameServerGC.

And yes I have fixed shortcuts, and double checked the launch parameters. Any help will be greatly appriciated!

this means u are running gameserver in the same port (check the shortcut app u are running for gameserver in properties and change the map code to 55901 ?)

guys, theres alot of newer servers with easier setup, why do you mess with those old files anyway?

id post a tutorial but i really dont wanna fight with mu emu guys.... as they whine about everything and never help you even you bought files...

your shortcut seem to have double ports etc

Edit: just ran it for test again and it just run without any problem

Everything working like charm , but when I open Main , it finished running but auto close =))) , maybe I wrong about hex main ....

propably you did so

for local server at your pc go open cmd and type in ipconfig
there you get your local ip and use it

can be IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : 192.168.1.157 as in my example look at yours please
for global get your ip from

You must run the shortcuts of the gameservers in order to run GS with ports on this files, that means dont just run the gameserver.exe's files make shortcut like i did in THE TUTORIAL VIDEO, and in properties of shortuct edit your file location , correct it and press enter then Run gameserver again and it will run. even if you search this error in google on in this forum 'please input authentication server address and port number.' u will find dozens of answers.

Please reinstall SQL then, or restart PC, or try 32 bit ODBC if u have 32 bit system.

yeah change to global, make sure u opened ports too and edited the client correctly with ur ip. make sure ur ports are open too after u run the server at canyouseeme.org 44405 55901 55919

Setup Configuration video Tutorial


SETUP CONFIGURATIONS MANUALLY

1. Download files - Extract them to C:\

2. Restore Databases (MuOnline.bak and IBSGameShopGB.bak)
with SQL 2008 or higher from Database Folder (2008 recommended).

3. Edit SQL Pass in

RankingServer\SvConfig.ini 
EventServer\Data\SvConfig.ini 
ShopServer\ShopServer.cfg  (Not a must RUN)
MuMaker\Run it and install it and configure it with your SQL Pass

4. Edit IP's in

ConnectServer\Data\BoR_Serverlist.dat 
Data\Mapserverinfo.dat
Data\Iplist.cfg
Data\Lang\kor\commonloc.cfg

5. Run Server from

a. ShopServer.exe Shortcut 
b.  MuServerStartup.exe
c. Run GameServer Shortcut
d. Run GameServer_CS Shortcut
3. Create an account with mumaker.

6. Edit ip in Main.exe

a. Open XVI32 From Client\Hex Editor\
b. Browse main.exe from client folder.
c. search for 192.168.178.69. and replace it with your IP by typing it.
d. Run main.exe and test your account .

7. Open Ports if using Global IP in files.

a. 44405 (JoinServer TCP)
b. 55901 (GameServer TCP)
c. 55919 (GameServer_CS TCP

b. replace the client version with 1.04.34 and save.

what u mean empty? rename that ibsgameshopgb to ibsgameshopgb.bak maybe and restore it
