Frequently Asked Questions:
1 - The game doesn't run, I can not play!
Run and install our Microsoft VC Redistributables provided inside the FixGameCrash folder.
If problem perists. try downloading and installing Microsoft .NET Frameworks for your Windows PC.

2 - My antivirus says this game has a virus inside of it!
That is the UGK Anticheat system we have running with the main game itself, which connects to a server outside of your network to run some quick security checks to ensure that cheaters/hackers will not overtake our game and ruin the experience for everybody.
The solution is to open your Antivirus's settings, and to 'Whitelist'/Ignore the folder or the file within our client causing the problem. So that is the Mu.exe and the Main.exe files.

Client settings/options/configurations
So we have basic settings within our game launcher (resolution, sound, window mode, etc.)
But within our client, we have a Config.ini file if you've noticed it.

Fog to make 3D environment less old and ugly.

You can use this instead of Fog, but unfortunately it is a bit buggy.

Leave this alone.

Know the rules on our MU Online private server!

a) Keep your password safe, do not share it with anyone.
b) Admins/GMs do NEVER ask for your password. We do not need it even to access your account.
c) PK and KS is 100% allowed, this is an open PvP server.
d) No cheating/hacking please, unless you really want that permanent ban.
e) Please do not use language that is racist, sexist, homophobic or falls under generally accepted guidelines for hate speech.

+100x Exp event starting later today, running until Sunday 20:00.
So exp rate will be 400x, and in Blood Castle will be 800x!

Players are happy with the current experience rate, so we are not planning on lowering or increasing it.
We do have weekly exp events however, do help the grinders.
So far so good, players are happy.

There have been 2 issues with our anticheat system, with players not being able to run the game, so we will be looking into that very shortly.

Also, server online exposure is still weak, server is very small, so I will be spending a few days advertising online.

Your not meant to reset on day 1...

This is a longterm server, you are meant to play this over the course of a few months to a few years, not a few days to a few weeks.

Any spots? Bro, every single map has several spots, that I can guarantee, I made them myself.
Dungeon is full. Atlans is full. Aida is full. Kanturu. Tarkan. Arena. Even Noria has spots.

Why not just play the game and see if you like it... exp rate and resets are not the 'exciting new features' that we promised with this server. We got a lot more going for Faronnia MU, and players have been recognizing and appreciating the work that has been put into this private server.

Just play the game maybe lol

This is an issue with our new client anticheat system.
We are looking in to it, this should be resolved soon.

Omg... please report this XD we've only had 2 reports of this, and apparently a lot more users than I thought are struggling with this.

We're looking into it, should be fixed within the next couple of days maximum.



We have had some users complain that they cannot run the game, and sometimes get some client data read errors.

We think we have found the solution, please download this fix (wait.txt file) and put in Client folder. NOT Data folder, put in same folder where there is main.exe

PvP is back on - the PK bug is fixed!
Other fixes applied during maintenance, including Blood Castle fix.

We have limited maximum resets to 10 for the period of 1 week (possibly can be extended up to 2 weeks). This is because we have overlooked some aspects of our character progression system, and as it turns out the Magic Gladiator and Dark Lord classes are over-powered. We will be doing some class re-balancing over this week, keeping you informed of all the changes we make!
Also, this gives a chance for new players to catch up a bit. I've advertised the server A LOT yesterday, and will keep doing so over the course of this week. We should have the server populating noticeably more soon.
