Have you set your server to your online ip rather than lan or local?

have you changed all the IPs in the registry and in the database?

Please explain in detail and I will do my best to help you.

IF that fails delete everything including registry and start again.

Hi, I tried to run this server.. but when clicking on ZemiLogin.exe i get an error.
So check log file and says this (Server\Log)

2:29: 1 - (X) Account Database Connection failed.
2:29: 1 - (X) InitializeDatabase

I guess problem is in odbc.. becasue i can't see any images, maybe if someone has or just tell what i need to do in 4.1. ODBC Additional Check

1. Place Server anywhere you wanted

For example: E:/Travia Server/
Using Wolfos Server files you should have following folder structude:
E:/Travia Server/Database
E:/Travia Server/Reg
E:/Travia Server/Server​

2. Install MSSQL 2000:

3. Restore Database:

Open Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio Express.
Creade 3 DBs: Account, Chart, Game
Then follow images (Step by step restoring DB):​

Here step2 - you can change path to whatever you like (that realy needed with Chart.bak, if you're not put your server to D:/Server/ you can create there that folder and just don't forget to change path with Chart.bak)
Repeat it with Chart.bak and Game.bak​

4. Setup Reg Files:

Open ODBC.reg in notepad,wordpad or else... and:

Change: "Driver"="c:\\WINNT\\ to location of your WINDOWS folder ("Driver"="D:\\WINDOWS\\System32\\SQLSRV32.dll" for example), then locate "DefaultDSNDir"="C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\ODBC\\Data Sources" and ensure that this folder exists, if not - change this path to right.​

Open Travia Client + Server.reg:

Change: IPs 192.168.0.1 to your server IP, "MapFile"="D:\\Server\\server\\game\\map\\Act01.map" to "MapFile"="E:\\Travia Server\\server\\game\\map\\Act01.map" (see folder structure "Step 1"), "MAXUSER"="20" - I think you now what that mean ​

Run reg files​

4.1. ODBC Additional Check

Go to Control Panel -> Administration Tools -> ODBC Data Sourse Administrator (System DSN Tab):​

5. Setup Server Settings in Account DB

Open Account DB tree structure, to open table use: Right Click -> Open Table.
To change only IP you need to open tables (columns to change):

SERVER010TL (SERVER010_WORLDIP,SERVER010_LOGIP)
SERVER030TL (SERVER030_IP)
SERVER040TL (SERVER040_IP,SERVER040_AUTHIP,SERVER040_BILLSERVER)
SERVER050TL (SERVER050_IP) <-I think it's optional.​

6. Run Server

Follow order: ZemiLogin.exe->ZmAuthServer.exe->ZmWorldServer->ZemiMap.exe​

Update: The server runs fine on

Windows 2008 server
MSSQL 2008 R2

Can you actually restore db's from sql 2000 in 2008? If so more advanced knowledge of writing scripts is required I guess...
