MaGias Realm is opening!!!

Finally we finished building up a server from clean files (no repack!) orientated at International server. We kept the basics and don´t have shitloads of crappy recoloured armors and tons of new areas. No, we took what Inix "gave" us, all Int areas, armors, weapons and mobs. This includes E-Mok island, Tower of Priest, Forrest of Elements, Valley of Devah and more, furthermore maximal armor grade of g65 dragon armor and g70 weapons. Our rates are LOW rates. Experience is based on monster stats. The whole experience of every monster has been remade, so you have a totally balanced exp, probably better than international. Also the drops are totally overworked and balanced, fitting to the exp rate. We created an own userinterface, based on the new korean UI (Preview) and added alot of selfmade systems, like repeatable quests (mission letters), f1 tip system and much more.

We tested alot and had a long closed beta phase, but now we have wiped out every known fixable bug and have a perfect working server. Only thing thats left to say is, that we won´t take any donations! We don´t like to give players advantages and destroy the balance.

We will open at 8th January 2010.

Low rate, but real low rate ...
Not like swo low rate. Can´t tell whats the rate exactly, but i would say about 10x-15x maybe?! :P

Swo is 25-35x :p

Trust me, lower will get players bored :( so you better entertain them! :D

Listen to him exe, trust me. the amount of extra shit you can add to 1 server is not enough to beat EXP rates. Sword online has been beaten down due to its xp rates, its good now. but getting boring, make sure armor is gettable not like u have to grind 8hrs in full IR party to get 1 g60 piece in FoE on swo :P

I think if the exp rate is fine, we have a good droprate, so people won´t get bored. Sure it´s not easy to get g55+ but still enough, there has always something to be whats worth to be fight for. :P

If you look at swo there are all the high levels level 78+ already. Whats the sense? Its harder to offer people things for 70+ than 60-70. 60+ is still motivating, because you get new skills, can go to new areas etc. So why make exp too high, i bet you can same fun with 60+ as with 70+. Noone remembers the good old int times where all people had just g46/g50 and were low level noobys? That was fun, too!

Btw i didn´t want to offend Sword Online, I just used it as comparison. It was called the ultimate low rate at v1 and now its not a real low rate anymore in my opinion.

I think Bof & Monster Summoning Scrolls wont make the server special as you think...
A few Player will play 100% but i dont think that it will be more than 100.
Buut we will see ;)

Bof and MSS is just additionally, our server is even without this really good I think. We have much more than this shit. Although we get instance and new monster ai, no server had this yet. :)

You make me laughing ... we will keep server running till noone is on there anymore. Don´t know when this will be, but i hope not in the near future. Not sure what we will do with files after that, I don´t think we have to care about that now.

Swordonline and Magias Realm are totally differend,
you should give it a try...
Well the closed beta ended, but im still playing on the server, testing stuff and advise some things that should be balanced (its not much, only small changes)
This server is one of the best server I've ever played, only thing that will be anoying is the noob players that ask for the way to dungeons, cause much people dont even have a clue where D1 is :O
