Quick Explanation (Little Detail)
Modify the Site Address's (lookup http:// in Hex editor) in the following files:
Updater.exe
dexclientchecker.dll

Change the Site Address to your website/Lan IP
then add the folder and file how ever you set it up, make the file (for example lets say you made it patch.txt instead of info, just make it blank document called patch.txt)

to fix any vulnerabilities our fix any bugs you can have fun figuring out on your own

I am well aware of this, If you can protect your runnable well enough it should stop majority of the "Hackers" (more in the sense of people being spoon fed hacks)

you dun't have the dll hexed right and our your dexclientinstall.exe isn't where it should be, or you don't have the DeX service installed and started (just run dexsrvinstall.exe)
