That is because of the file structure. Protected mrs files are very easy to unpack, I just forgot to include the fix.

If you made this entire thing in C++, I commend you in

A) Having a nice template/class for GUI
B) Taking the time to make a C++ GUI

By the way, nice little curved edge on the window. Something could be learned from this.

It was made in delphi, gives the same results as C/C++, only many less lines of code. Can be more optimized to in some situations.

And yes, gfx design is my pet peeve. Once this project is done, I might make it open source.

MRS File Viewer Version 1.3 Released

MRS packing has now been introduced. It also comes with custom encryptions enabled. I might release the edition where it edits gunz to accept the new encryptions. Yet that is still in alpha testing.

Please Note: The MRS V1 and MRS Zip are not truly that, but they will be in future releases!

Please post here any comments or bugs as this is still beta.

Here is a quick sub release with major bug fixes.

Bug 1: When packing then trying to unpack somthing you just packed, you get a unknown version error.

Bug 2: When unpacking after already unpacking it unpacks the same file.

::Added forced unpacking. If you get an unknown version(I.E. Some kGunz files). You can select the version forcefully.

::Fixed the MRSV1 and MRSZIP. They are really what they are now.

::Removed the limit on encryptions(I.E. 2-9 only).

Includes windows file integration and a nice Installshield installer. File size is up though, so I have uploaded it to 4 different hosts.

Actually that was my next move. I plan for you to be able to edit the mrs without repacking.
