What is the diff (server files, bin files and source)

Hi guys,
Any one can tell me if what are the diff of these terms?
And where can i get source? I want to make classic server ep4,
Anyone can tell me how, or guide me pls?

server files = (session,field,agent,login, any file that is related on running a server).
.bin files = binary/product/output of the source files.
source files = root file of the development (to perform an internal function/UI editing, like adding a new event, character, function etc..).
