I use L2J-FREE rev 1979 and server work super stable, i update my server to this last ver. 2012 afther 2-3 hours server start to freze nobody in game cant move, mass disconnects and more... is possible the new code of l2j-gameserver-1.0.0 to be wrong.

64mb for Login
1gb for gameserver / 2gb recommended

If your server dont have custom implementations (NPC buffer, GM Shop, etc), you can:

- Backup your database;
- Install (or upgrade) the latest DB and files;
- Restore your tables: accounts, character_friends, character_hennas, character_macroses, character_quests, character_raidpoints, character_skills, character_subclasses, characters, clan_data, clanhall and other more important, for dont have data lost.

REMMEMBER: Backup your server files and database.

/Agree that! Every "server admin" MUST KNOW how to compile the gameserver code and atleast make some small changes on code... Ofcourse... make/apply patches is a must have also... We gotta stop all that moving of noob admins. just makes L2J servers look like crap...

yeap true..but its much faster to download it ready than compiling it... i mean downloading from rapidshare takes 5 mins.. compiling it takes 20 or maybe more.. not to mention about newbies..

Lol 20 mins?? what you follow all the includes manualy to do it??? it takes a lil bit more but not even 10 minutes to compile it... And noobs?? just learn how to do it... This should be a must have to have an online server.

for me checking out from svn (login,game srv & datapack) takes 10-15.. and about 5 to compile.. so its 20.. dunno about u ..
so i can compile.. but why bother to ? when i can save 10+ mins ? lol .. atleast for me its a bit usefull... ^^
