Hi RageZone Members!

I've been thinking with my friend Habblet..
Is it an idea if we made an official hotel for Ragezone?
Habblet is good at making hotels.
I can make pixelarts..
People on Ragezone can make very nice Customs and can make it an CCT.
If we all work together we can build a beautiful hotel.

The pixelarters make customs for the hotel.
The CCT makers can make the customs CCT's for the hotel
The scripters can helping with fixing bugs for the hotel.
We can make up the most beautiful hotel ever built.

We can really be a good team!

What we need:

*Pixelarters
*CCT Makers
*Scripters
*Bug Fixers (C# Coders)

What is yours opinion on this?

First of all you need to make sure MentaL wants or w/e, you just cant decide to make a Ragezone Hotel.You can but if you dont ask anyone it wont be offical.

Btw, didn't we have this idea like 40 billion times already?
A couple of time the hotel was actually being constructed, but I think we just forgot about the idea.
But either way it would be nice to see a RaGEZONE Hotel. We would kick 0taku's ass.

Well Otaku has a nice Hotel with their Gangsta shit.They got like Habbo Based RPG which is ok but idk if Ragezone will eva have a Hotel.

If this goes well, i don't mind bringing it up with the staff.
But i doubt it will. We look for complete original hotels, sort of like Otaku's RPG hotel, they have originality etc

Way back when I was a moderator, I remember a thread in the staff section where we discussed this possibility. All the other mods, naturally because they don't accept us as a MMO, weren't very accepting or pleased with the idea.

As I remember correctly, Dan was open to the idea if we could get someone to host, buy the domain, VPS, and make it specialized to RaGEZONE. I'm not 100% sure if this information is accurate, but I think that is what was discussed.

To be perfectly honest, as sort-of-veteran of the section, an official hotel is a rediculous idea unless someone made an exclusive server that stayed updated above all the rest of the servers in .../f334. The person who runs the server also would run the risk of legal action - and MentaL has already had contact over legal issues in the retro community.

A while back... he kept the section from being shut down because RaGEZONE "accepted no responsability for the content discussed". Therefore I doubt he would want ANY affiliation between an official hotel and RZ.

Hmm. I think you should first off think of the pros and the cons. If its good or bad. Consequences and is it worth it etc etc. But you know I would like to see a Ragezone hotel and true it would kik otakus ass >:)

Besides the legal problems that hosting a server of this nature would create, back then, the server software lacked in features and especially in security measures making it vulnerable to every single exploit that had been found by scripting groups in the official hotels.

Even though these exploits were patched in the official hotels, they still remained in the unofficial ones due to coders not being able to find out how to fix them and after reading the first post and seeing that you're looking for bug fixers I suppose that the security area still needs to be improved.

A project like this one will never succeed unless the security area is taken care of and the legal issues would still be there so sooner or later you would be forced to shut it down.

I had set up RaGEHOTEL a few months ago, I closed it due to some disagreements with me and the administrative team of RaGEZONE to put it shortly I opened my eyes to what MentaL and Exy really are, I rather just leave it to that. Honestly, no one will ever even get anywhere near to as awesome as my version of RaGEHOTEL, we had a full blown extremely private emulator (I still have it in fine condition) coded by Nillus from scratch, way better than Holograph Emulator. Anyway, I honestly wouldn't bother doing it again its not worth helping out this poorly moderated community, they don't know shit about habbo and they try to make descisions on our section? They don't desserve any users their ignorance is not desserving of such a project, and think about the following: Habbo has gone up to v34 DCr's and now is switching to a flash habbo client, every habbo emulator only supports v26 (public ones) in order for you to even get a team skilled enough to help out you would have to convince a lot of people to come back to RaGEZONE which I doubt will be happening anytime soon lol.

Myself and Parker and a couple of other guy's tried to get one going a year or so ago, The project was going but people lost interest. As did the Ragezone Moderators / Owners. It was eventually dropped. That's why I left but now I'm back. So please don't try to create a RageZone Hotel, It will end up in another mess, Unless Metal will work together with us, I would be happy to recruit the old guy's and get it up again and pull up our old coding and progress from scratch we had. But for now... Just don't even try.
