Mods: This is very relevant to habbo emulation because of the nature of the project being emulated... and the fact that the project even was developed by the makers of habbo hotel. AND in its own right, the website was a spinoff off habbo hotel.

VMK I used to play it was for the year 2008 because of the 1,000,000 dreams or something
Now it shut-down, because its over!

But VMK was the same as the OLD habbo.. was it not?

Sorry, but if Disney is willing to pay you a whole lot of money just to clone and theme an existing game you already have.. it isn't a very hard choice if you ask me. Besides, it isn't Sulake's fault that it 'epicly failed', they weren't operating VMK for as far as I know.

It doesn't matter if Sulake made it though, 'Virtual Magic Kingdom' is something Disney owns, Disney is OBVIOUSLY a much larger corporation than Sulake could ever astrive to be, anyway this has nothing to do with Private Server this just has to do with a not very well thought out project, considering as soon as disney would hear of it they would try to 'silence it' I would know, I work @ disney ;P They are very very manipulative, and very powerful don't let hannah montana and high school musical distract you Disney is powerful as fuck.

I think some of this discussion is being confused with when they first closed. Someone was trying to emulate a new VMK - that is what I'm saying failed. They got everyone's hopes up and then made some excuse about how the staff wasn't being committed. lol.

I used to play VMK. Disney shattered my dreams by closing it! But Habbo is the closest thing to VMK. It was kinda like Coke Studios!

I think that hannah montana and High School Musical just show how powerful they are. Before those shows had you ever heard of the people in them? They can take any nobody loser and make them a billionare with a zillion fans. What other company could actually do that and make them as big as disney does (american Idol or w.e. does the same type thing but no where near as big!)

Anywho I would have liked to play this game as it sounds interesting but you guys are right this isnt the place to discuss it
