Apple or Android?

Now I've been tossing this up for quite some time...
Apple or Android?
I just can't choose.
I've had an iPhone for the last 2 years now and I have to say I'm on the fence with it.
I like the fact that apple products can be versatile, but on the same note, I don't like the fact that you're limited in terms of customization and personal preference.


On the Android side of things, some Android platforms have proven to be unstable, but on the opposite hand to iPhone's, have infinite customization potential and lots of room for personal preference.


So where do you sit on the subject? I'm really interested to hear. After my contract runs out, I'm stuck as to whether to stick with Apple, or switch to an Android.

Thread doesn't really make sense because Apple is a company and Android is an operating system. Then the poll, iPhone is the handset and again Android is an operating system.

iPhones are good once they are jailbroken. You can also customize it to however you like really. I'll show you an example of my iPod.

Thread has been made before and I've said countless times, ANDROID. The only notable things for Apple is Siri and their 'great' devices, however, Android have made greater progress when making different things and are used it hundreds of different things. Apple have not.

This isn't really a debate. Asking people's opinions isn't a debate. Let's try to elaborate on our ideas guys.

For me, it's iPhone. The reason why most people say Android on here is because Android constantly has new phones coming out, which obviously means they're going to have the next best technology if they have a new phone coming out every day. However, every 2 years an iPhone is released, their technology seems to keep up with the Android and Windows hardware, which is why it sells so well. Of course there aren't the numerous custom options, looks, and shit with iPhone as there are with Android, but who needs that shit anyways? Most of it would confuse all of us.

I'll give you a couple reasons on why I think the iPhone is the top choice.

1. Design - the iPhone 4 and 4S's design is damn near the best on the mark. Glass front and back, although dangerous, looks amazing and sleek, accompanied by the metal antenna. The overall look makes you want one in a second.

2. Security - it's nearly impossible for an iPhone to be hacked or anything of the sorts.

3. Apps - while other phones have a growing app market, nothing compares to the number of apps on the App Store, and nothing compares to the organization and upkeep of the actual market. All apps are sorted neatly and easy to find.

I shall elaborate on my previous post.

I believe that Android is slightly 'better' in terms of applications and what you can do with it. I really think that Apple is catching up but is still just a tiny bit behind Android and it's technology, but what I've noticed in most Android phones and Apple phones are that, the iPhone has quite a smaller screen than most android mobile devices but features stuff like Siri. Android does have something similar but is less commonly-known or featured.

Also, Android is featured on hundreds of different tablets which earns them millions each year, the faster they are made the more people are waiting for them and purchasing them. But as this is happening, we must take into account that Apple's devices such as the iPad have been created over a longer time period and have spent more time and have ended up coming out more 'well-prepared' if you'd say, or more elegant than most Android tablets. One to compare is the Archos G9 or Archos G8 and the iPad, the Android (Archos G8, G9 and upcoming) are made more significantly quicker than the iPad, simply because iPad incorporate more ideas and are simpler to use.

Simple Answer.

Hardware and software wise Samsung and Android are suprior so there should be no debate. What you can do on an Apple you can do on an Android.

An another note this is the filth Apple brings to the tech world.
