Rev80 Client

I yesterday downloaded Rev80 and compiled everything. The Login, Char and Worldserver are all working.

I reinstalled Rose and updated i till Rose [v.224], when i log in, create a character and double click it my client closes immidiently

Anyone know how to fix this, or has an other Rose Client of an lower version to share with me.

I dont know how to remove this.

Please some help

(If there already were posts about this, im sorry but i didnt find anything.

rev 80 is not compatible with any version of NA rose beyond 139
they changed all the packet structures at that time
To make NA work with rev 80 you have to apply a patch to the client in the form of an older version of trose.exe.
Just search for trose and gameguard patches and you will find it.

Alternatively, try using the dev-rev from osrose which works directly with the latest version of NA rose without any sort of patches. It is also a couple of years worth of programming more advanced than rev 80 which to be honest is a bit of a dinosaur now.
