Spain VS Holland

As you may already know, Spain and Holland are now in the final of the worldcup. What are your thoughts and who do you think will win the world cup this year, I am hoping Holland win TBH.

The final match will be on Sunday 6:30PM GMT

Paul the Octopus has made his prediction for the World Cup final and has selected Spain to lift the trophy in Johannesburg on Sunday evening. For anybody unfamiliar with 'Paul', he is a Common Octopus who lives at the Oberhausen Aquarium in Germnay and has become famous the World over for his Psychic ability to correctly predicti the outcomes of matches at the 2010 World Cup.

Holland have had a 100% win streak throughout this tournament. Although Spain have conceded less goals, Spain appear to be the weaker team. I really don't know who will come out on top. I'll make a judgement during the game.

I want the Netherlands to win as they have been one of the best teams in the tournament so far. Germany were the most impressive, shame they couldn't break down Spain and beat them. However I'm going for a 1-0 win for Spain. I bet against myself, and Spain seem to be able to grind out that crucial result.

I hope the Netherlands win, but I've got a feeling that Spain will win and I would put my money on them. It could go either way and entirely depends on the luck of the day.

Got to disagree with you, I supported Germany the whole way through and I had my money on them since before the tournament started. During their game with Spain, Spain deserved the win and were a far better team on the day. But like I said in my above post it depends on the day.

I wouldn't be so sure, Spain were the favourites from the beginning for a reason and I wouldn't write them out so quickly. Just because the Netherlands have well known players doesn't mean they're a better team (Look at England!) and I would say (in my opinion) Spain have more well known players than the Netherlands.

Exactly. And I think that Germany would win 9 out of 10 times playing Spain, they just had a shitty game.

Buuuut I think Spain's going to win the championship.. unfortunately. I like how Netherlands plays, but Spain possesses a hell of a lot better. They ran circles around Germany, and Germany is good at possessing.

Germany played really well considering how young there team is and they can only get better with time, so maybe next time I'll put my money on them once again :P... As for your first sentence, I'm sure neither team have one before?
