[Jewelcrafting] Prospecting skill bugged

The prospecting skill is not working. The glowy animation plays and the casting bar animation runs, but when it finishes, nothing happens. It does not consume the ore nor does it open a loot window. I have tried it on various ores including copper, tin, and iron.
