Easy way to encrypt Gunz .mrs without messing with source?

How do I encrypt mrs files guys? Without having to messing around with Gunz source. I was hoping to encrypt my mrs files and still be able to play Gunz.exe without messing around with Gunz source. Any help would be appreciate it.

If your .mrs file algorithm is aababx, but GunZ excepts it to be abbabax, what do you think will happen? Exactly, nothing.
