Hiyah.

I'm asking to make invisible weapons, where, it does damage and stuff, but it can't be seen.

The reason I want it, is because people always run from grenades, and I want grenades that are invisible.

I tried making an item that was invisible, I made its own mesh, I hex edited it, and I just made the whole .dds file black, but when I went ingame, it wasn't there, and the only way to use it was to switch to a gun before I switched to it and shoot it. How would I do this? Thanks for all help,

u can make them by... taking away the Elu for the items.. thats one way of doing it right? :D.

No. It doesn't make them invisible, it makes them not exist, meaning you have to switch to a weapon and then to the weapon you want to use it. It's not invisible this way, tyhandggnore.

Take the tga or dds image and go to the alpha 1 channel, then Make it all transparant ;)

1. Get Photoshop
2. Google Nvidia .dds plug-in
3. Open the grenade .dds file ( model.mrs)
4. In Photoshop go to the alpha section and high-light it
5. Get a paintbrush and put it to black in the alpha section
6. Color the whole thing with black or red ( when the other section are selected : RGB)
7. Save as explicit alpha.
8.Pack model.mrs
9. Your done.

I tried that but I guess I didn't color the alpha channel.. Also, I don't want ALL nades invisible, just one type, but I can do it without your guys help

Ooops, that sounded bitchy, I meant, I can add my own custom weapons on my own, thanks
