So I tried with online tool, upscaling 4x a car texture (Town)...

Definitely looks better but 4x increased texture means bigger client and more RAM usage. So you'll have to see if it's worth it.

as long as it doesnt effect game play / lag in game, i dont see why that would be a bad thing at all, that car looks much better!
