[Question]Cannot connect (other people)

I'm trying to make it so that others can connect to my server (my friend) and i uploaded my whole gunz folder and he put my ip into the config.xml but it says cannot connect...

How may i solve this problem?

Edit : I have a router, this come into consent at any time? I forwarded 6000-8000 ports on UDP/TCP

If i create a network on it and people connect, that does it right? Or is there certain configurations i need......
