have you looked around for another version of start bat?

nope, i figured the .bat file should be working...

start engine.exe /load /config debug

echo on

Is your working directory the same directory the engine.exe is located? This error should only happen when you run it from a different directory, or if the engine.exe does not exist. In other words, double clicking it should work. Anti virus is another possible cause, which could block executing the engine, since it is sometimes detected. However, if you're sure everything is off, and it's the EXE clean repack you're running, then I have no idea.

i mean that's the bat file and the engine.exe that's there right? in the same folder

it either doesn't work at all, and if i change the engine.exe compatibility for an older version of windows, it gives me the null/null error

you get null cause of different pw between engine/config.epk

can't be the case, it's clean repack extracted right from the clean repack .rar file
the null error only happens when i change the compatibility

Up-to-date database files for 2017 repack. I have spent some time going through the dll sources and fixing stuff in the database but I dont want to miss anything.

Also, does anyone know how to fix polishing stone?
